The Canadian Association of Labour Media is a bilingual communications co‑operative representing nearly 250 unions across Canada. It supports labour activists and editors with media training, tools, and a national network to strengthen labour movement messaging and media literacy.

Group Project Initiatives (GPI) is a grassroots social enterprise and civic-infrastructure builder aimed at expanding participatory activism in Canada. Using research and evidence-driven insights, GPI develops accessible, long-term infrastructure to support civic allyship—bridging gaps between public concern and sustained action. We’re best known for our first passion project turned catalyst for a career pivot On Canada Project.
GPI is a small, women-of-colour-owned, solo-entrepreneurship business. It operates as a social enterprise and is registered as a business due to an understanding of the non-profit industrial complex.
