It isn’t easy trying to ‘unite’ the left, and we

the bold print

C4H is intentionally designed to hold difference. We welcome creators and collaborators who share core values—even if they express them differently or can’t always name oppression directly. In today’s world, we recognize that personal and professional constraints are real. Our structure makes space for that—while staying grounded in alignment.

But let’s be clear: that doesn’t mean anything goes. While everyone is welcome, not everyone will be a fit for this space, and that is okay. We don’t expect uniformity in tone or tactics, but we do require shared values, relational care, and trust. If someone violates our collective commitments and resists accountability, they’ll be removed. That’s not exclusion—it’s integrity by design and it’s how we protect the larger mission of resisting fascism.

We can disagree and still love each other unless your disagreement is rooted in my oppression and denial of my humanity and right to exist.”

Our Values

  • Future Ancestors

We honour the past and future generations in our actions and decisions. Our work today is a legacy for tomorrow, ensuring that we leave a world enriched, not depleted, for those who come after us.

In thinking like a future ancestor, we remember that we may not witness collective liberation in our lifetimes, but that it is still essential to do our part for it.

  • Progressive in progress

We're not perfect, and we don’t pretend to be. We’re people who care, learning in real time—making mistakes, owning them, and showing up better the next time.

Like Maya Angelou said: “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” That’s our practice. That’s our politics.

  • Hopeful

“The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” — Martin Luther King Jr.

Even when things feel bleak, we hold fast to this truth.

Our hope isn’t passive—it’s practiced. Informed. Strategic.

We believe a better future is possible because we’re building it.

    Together. On purpose. In community.

  • Disruptors

Challenging the status quo is in our DNA.

We embrace innovative thinking and bold actions to disrupt harmful systems and practices, creating pathways for more just and equitable alternatives.

We disrupt because we must—because right now, silence and inaction don’t make you “neutral”, they make you complicit.

  • Collectivists

We believe in the strength of the collective, and as such, work to unlearn individualism as a conditioned societal trait.

Being in community asks for grace and boundaries. It means navigating disagreement without collapsing into harm or fragility.

We hold space for difference—because not everyone shows up the same way.
We trust that most people are doing their best, and that we all have room to know better and do better.

  • Intersectional AF

When Dr. King said “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere,” he was pointing to the interconnectedness of our struggles. And bell hooks gave us the language to name what we’re up against: a single, interlocking system of oppression —imperialist-white supremacist-capitalist-patriarchy. These aren’t four different issues, they are one system.

That means our solutions can’t be siloed. If the problem is systemic, the response has to be too.
Everything we build is designed to push back against that system—together.
